National bestselling author, Heather Long, likes long walks
in the park, science fiction, superheroes,
Marines, and men who aren’t douche bags. Her books are filled with heroes and heroines tangled in romance as hot as Texas summertime. From paranormal historical westerns to contemporary military romance, Heather might switch genres, but one thing is true in all of her stories—her characters drive the books. When she’s not wrangling her menagerie of animals, she devotes her time to family and friends she considers family. She believes if you like your heroes so real you could lick the grit off their chest, and your heroines so likable, you’re sure you’ve been friends with women just like them, you’ll enjoy her worlds as much as she does.

Meagan's Review:
Can I tell you how much I love Heather and her books. A whole freakin ton!!! Haunt me was such a different take on a story line and it was such a nice change of pace. And you can't help but fall in love with the characters, the story line, the town, the history and the lore. I got sucked in from the very beginning and kept guessing and couldn't wait to get the whole story. So along with this...I kind of have a little secret part of myself that loves ghost stories and haunted towns and homes and small communites and of course a little drama. This book hit every aspect for me and I just lost myself in it.
With this book you can't help but fall in love with Mac and her trying to find her footing in a new town, a new haunted house, and recently divorced. But even more than that you can't help but love Justin. Justin didn't have the best of intentions when Mac first moved to town, but after getting to know her and helping with her house, those intentions became noble. I had a few suspicions about some of the characters of this book as well as the book that Mac was writing and I kept finding myself getting excited starting to piece some of the puzzle together.
Mac's ex.....douche bag kept showing up and I wanted to jump into the book and slap him and knock him around and take him down quite a few pegs. But Justin got some good stuff in for me too. And I love Justin's brother...I want more about him. Ohhh and I can't not mention Jock. Jock is Justin's baby sister and she's a crazy little chick that I love too. I don't want to give too much away with this review because it's just one of those stories that you have to read to get most of the details. But I highly recommend this book because you'll just fall in love with the story of Penny Hollow and everything it has to offer.
