Blog Tour: Reforming the Playboy by Inara Scott

Blurb:

Five years ago, she left without a word…

Internationally-renowned artist Max Estin is as well known for his million dollar commissions as he is his partying and clubbing. But Max is hiding a secret—for almost a year he’s been completely blocked. Unable to paint. And to unlock his art, and save his career, he’s going to need the one woman he never wanted to see again.

Now, he’s determined to make her pay…

Kira Estin never told Max exactly why she left, or what secrets forced her to return home to Passion Creek so abruptly. So when a chance reunion turns to seduction, Kira is more than a little suspicious. She knows better than to trust Max, but can’t fight the fire that he lights in her body—or her heart. But when everyone is hiding a secret, can even the hottest passion survive?

About the Author:

Inara grew up in winter wonderland of Buffalo, NY. Consequently, she spent much of her childhood complaining about being cold. To spare the world her whining, she fled the cold climate and eventually
wound up in the Pacific NW, where she practiced law for ten years before getting up the courage to quit her day job and write full time. A proud author of fantasy and romance for adults and young adults, Inara firmly believes that great literature doesn't have to be depressing, true love does exist, and everyone deserves a happily ever after. You can find her online at Twitter (@inarascott), on Facebook, and at her website:www.inarascott.com.

Meagan's Review:

I love Inara's books. They are always filled with awesome romance and laughter and drama. And I'm pretty sure my favorite character is Great-aunt Polly. That woman has some spunk and is the reason that all of this takes place anyways.

So our story is about Max and Kira and how five years ago they were in love and together in college. And then one day Kira up and left and didn't even say goodbye to Max until she was already thousands of miles away. Even then no real reason was given just hey I'm not coming back and this is the end and goodbye. Then Max sends the art he created to Kira and OMG again I feel jipped in life. I want someone to create art like that with me....the trust and love that is described with these images is indescribable. Anyways now Max and Kira are going to have the chance to meet again and it's going to be truly interesting. Max's life is going down an interesting path and he's traveling and still doing art.

So of course once these two come back into each others lives old feelings come back into the picture. Max's original intent when reuniting with Kira is not good. But will Max change his mind? Will these two find love again with each other? Or will Max lose Kira a second time?

This book was a great read and you can't help but fall in love with the characters and their story. You can't wait to find out what is going to happen with Max and Kira and if they will ever find a way to be together, now that fate is giving them a second chance. I highly recommend this book as a great romance weekend read.
