Okay so today is the start of this tour for Nely Cab's book Creatura. Pure awesomeness!!! I loved every minute of this book!! And this is the second tour I got my hands on with this awesome author...YEY!!!! But on the stop today we have little info about the author and where you can stalk her, a blurb about the book as well as buy links, the tour schedule (make sure to check out the other stops), my review and a giveaway.

About the Author:

Nely Cab was born on December 9, 1974, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She has lived and resided in a small, quiet South Texas town most of her life. Putting her Computer Accounting skills to use, Cab
worked in banking for several years. In 2001, the author relocated to Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, where she dedicated time to the study of culinary arts and the art of oil painting.

After her return to the U.S., she resumed her employment in banking and  in the following year transitioned to the field of Social Work. Later, Nely took up writing as a hobby and produced her first novel entitled "Creatura".

Last year, the rights to "Creatura" were sold to a leading Young Adult publisher in a foreign country, where it has just recently been released.

Today, Nely Cab writes from the comfort of her home in South Texas, where she lives with her husband and son. Currently, Nely is working on the second installment in her debut series Creatura.

Where to Stalk Nely:

Isis can control her dreams. Or she could—until recently. The creature in her nightmares has been haunting her for months. As if being dumped wasn’t bad enough, now she dreads going to sleep. She decides to confront the creature and win back some of her peace; only, she finds that he’s not a monster and he’s not a dream.

A sacrifice for love, a shocking discovery and a jealous ex-boyfriend blur the lines between reality and dreams, making it hard to tell who the real monsters are.

Who would've known…that sometimes love is lethal?

Where to Buy Links:

At the entrance to the school, I found David sitting on a red brick bench, waiting for me.
“Morning,” I said, looking away for a second as I wiped the girlish grin from my face. I was remembering last night’s kiss.
“Good morning.”
He opened the glass doors for me, then took my hand and asked me to follow him to a semi-empty area across from the glass doors and windows. He gave me a gentle push and my back touched the wall. He leaned close and placed his finger on my lips. His touch sent tiny electrical shocks through every fiber of my body.
“I crave your lips. Give me but one taste and I’ll ask no more.”
I shook my head turned away, but he turned it back so that I was looking straight into his eyes.
“Why do you insist on this?” I asked.
“Why else would I crave your lips if I didn’t already know the sweet nectar that they possess?”
“No,” I said, shutting my eyes to keep from starring into his mesmerizing blue gaze. “It’s forbidden.”
“It’s as forbidden as the illicit fruit of Hades, but even he has eaten from it.”

Meagan's Review:

Now onto my favorite part; my review. First let me tell you...I loved every single moment of this book. I fell in love with all of the characters and found myself day dreaming about being a part of their world. However, I will say that even though I loved Isis and David neither one of them was my favorite character. Nope for me the guy that stole my heart was.....wait for it....Galen. But there will be more on that later.

So the story starts of with Isis writing in her journal about her dreams; how he watches her, and haunts her and has turned her dreams into nightmares. To the point that for 3 months she isn't sleeping more than 2 or 3 hours a night and it's starting to show. Eventually, Isis works the nerve up to confront her boogeyman in her dreams and she finds out that instead of some beast who growls at her, he is a man who is as beautiful as a god would be. He tells her, " I'm your dream weaver, my lovely. Something you are ignorant of in your reality."

As they continue talking we find out that the beautiful man's name is David. Isis believes he isn't real because its her dreams, but David quickly disagrees with her and tells her he's very real.  "You can't intimidate me," I said. "I know you're not real. Look at you, all gold and feathery and...whatever." So they wager a little bet. But before we find out about the bet, David tells Isis, "You're the only human to ever enter Somnium. The Gods would have your head and mine, as well, if they knew you were here." This has me interested because Isis may not be fully human.

The next day at school Isis is going along and a new students starts and she's asked to show him around. I find this whole scene funny because Isis is so oblivious to who he is. It isn't until he tells her that he wins by proving he's real that she puts everything together.

From here we learn a lot about David and his history. We learn about the gods, deities,  Creatura and immortals. I was sucked right in and loved every moment of it. But anyways back to David and Isis. So Davis very old school and one of the things that stands out was his front passenger door. "You need to get this door fixed," I said, waiting for David to open my door. "It's not broken, my lovely." "Then why won't it open?" "To keep the princess form opening the door herself." He put the child lock on.

Eventually, we meet David's family. His mother Nyx and his twin brothers; Eryx and Galen. Now Nyx is very nice to Isis and she doesn't do anything to her, I just have some mixed emotions where she is concerned. I love Eryx, but it's Galen who holds my heart. He is describe to look like a warrior and yet I bet when he wants he has a soft side to him. And he makes me laugh. Here are some of my favorite moments with Galen. "Abundance of boredom is more like it." Galen decided to put in his two cents. "Tell me, are there many suicide-related deaths in this place? Because I can certainly see how anyone would resort to death other living here." "Galen isn't into small town living," Eryx said. "Solitary confinement is more populated than this town." Eryx shot us an apologetic smile. "He doesn't deal well with change." "And I don't think this place could be called a town at all." "Galen..." "A village, mabye." "Galen." "Or perhaps a six-person book club. Hell, I've seen leper colonies with more life." hehehe and then my other favorite one is, "Brother," Galen said. "If you feed the cats, they'll keep coming back. Please. I beg you. Stop." Just talking about a random girl. But at the same time when it comes to his family and those he cares about you know that worrier side of him comes out and he'd fight till his dying breath.

But as the story continues some drama happens when Isis ex come back trying to get her back, after he went away to college and broke up with her over a text. And he doesn't look well or act normal. His story has an interesting turn out. We also find out that Isis' mother has a few secrets of her own and one in particular that affects Isis.

Most questions get answered in this book with a few new ones. However I will tell you that I did not see the huge cliff hanger coming at the end. Just reading along and "Oh.....ummm.....that's probably not good. Uhhhh....okay. Wait what? OMG did that just happen?" And then the end. lol

Overall amazing book and I cannot wait for the next one....I need to know what is going to happen. So make sure to go get your copy and leave comments with your thoughts.
