Meagan's Review:

Holy hawt sexiness everywhere batman!! Yep that's my review!! lol But seriously this book was AMAZING!!!! I loved every minute of this book. Okay so this is the second book in this series and in the last book we learned a lot of tragic things happened in Lily's past and she pretty much ran from them. Which is understandable....she did lose her entire family in one day. And the secret at the end of book one OMG. Beyond that we also learn that Lily's got a bit of a stalker on her hands and while I had my suspicions in the first book about who it was...I second guessed myself in this one because of a certain type of wording the stalker used and then right before there was a knock on a door I was like OMG I KNOW WHO IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!! And my guess from book one was right on the money...just in this book I was able to pin point it a little better and ahhhh I was so excited with the way that Alicia did this because it was pure awesomeness. However, I'm very curious since this is a trilogy what is going to happen in the next book beside the obvious.

So this book picks up right where the last one left off Kyle and Lily make a trip back to Colorado to face some hard truths. While there Lily finds out that her Aunt and family kept a pretty big secret from her she doesn't handle it so well at first. On top of that she is going to set foot back into her family home. The biggest point of this book for Lily is to let go of the past and move forward. In doing so she and Kyle become closer in their relationship. But will Lily ever be ready to let go and move on? That's the main focus of this book. Not only that but their relationship is tested A LOT. Between the stalker, Luke, her family, her past, his past, jobs, and a lot of other things there are a lot of issues that need to be worked out between them.

Can I tell you how much I love Lily's cousins. I wish I had extended family like that. We also find out a few shocking things in this book. We find out who the driver was on that terrible night. We find out Annie, Lily's sister, kept quite a few secrets to herself, we find out that the stalker is getting closer and bolder and it could be someone Lily knows. We find out that Kyle has his own demons  which I'm hoping we will hear more about in the next book. Lily makes a lot of progress in this book and I'm super proud of her. I can't wait to see what will happen in the next book on her journey. And I love the relationship between Kyle and Lily....I swear I must have been born in either the wrong state, city, zip code  year something....lol I want a man like Kyle to be attentive to me. *sigh* I'll just have to settle for reading more about him. I know this review isn't very detailed but I didn't want to give too much away because reading this book is not only a journey for Lily, but for the reader as well. And taking in every detail is extremely important and it makes it difficult because I don't want to take away from the story. Alicia wrote this book beautifully and you can't help but love Lily and Kyle and finding out where life might take them. I highly recommend this book to read and can't wait till the next one to see what will happen.
