About MIDNIGHT VALENTINE
True love never dies.
Her first night there, she meets the town recluse, Theo. Withdrawn, guarded, and mysteriously silent since a terrible accident left him scarred, Theo takes an instant and inexplicable dislike to Megan. But as their paths cross again and again, Megan becomes convinced there’s more to Theo than meets the eye.
When she discovers the reason for his silence, his nightmares, and especially his pointed dislike, Megan becomes convinced of something far more astonishing.
Is a second chance at a once-in-a-lifetime love possible, or is a broken heart the cruelest kind of liar?

Meagan's Review:
OMG this book was AMAZING!!!! So I'm a sucker for romance. One of my favorite tv channels is the Hallmark channel. I don't care if you give me 30 romantic stories that are fairly similar and what not, you give me new characters to like and new places with new jobs and I'm a sucker for those. Hands down. Let me say this book is not like that.
At first I was really unsure of what the heck I was reading. And then I couldn't quite get a good feel for Megan because on the one hand she's kind of a manipulator (especially with her therapy), but she's also broken and I just couldn't get a feel of just how broken. When she moves to a new town she makes friends with the craziest woman possible in the town and they work. I love their relationship with one another. It's the kind of relationship I'd want to have with my best friend, full of sarcasm and witty come backs and fun. So anyways Megan moves to this new town and grabs a bite to eat on her first night and that's when things take an interesting turn for her and this beast of a man. When we first meet Theo I'm completely confused as to what the heck is problem is. He storms out of the diner when Megan is there. He runs into her and you would think that she stabbed him to get him as angry as he does. And then the flip side of that is they are drawn together, through fate, chance, karma, just plain ol run of the mill luck. It's just something that happens and I'm a firm believer in that stuff. You can't run from it if it's meant to happen it will.
The more Theo and Megan are thrown together the more interesting the story gets. Their connection to each other is on another level that just can't be explained. It's scary and exciting and nerve racking and truly indescribable. One thing leads to another and mixed signals and wires crossed and late nights lead to these two really "talking" in a very loose term of the word. But honestly I don't think either of them is crazy. And slowly I start to form an idea that is truly out there, but I believe could happen and slowly Megan (great name by the way) starts to form the same idea and then J.T. throws this curve ball and makes me re-think that I've got this entire book wrong and that maybe Megan is a LOT more crazy that I originally thought and maybe all this stuff is in her head and isn't real. I questioned a lot of things. Then I think OMG maybe this other turn is going to happen and keep going and then I'm thinking, okay there isn't a whole lot more she can cover what is happening with this book and then WHAM out of left field happens and I can't believe the author went there. Like really we got to this point a good point and you throw that at the reader. Come on. And then another thing out of left field happens, although I wasn't as shocked at that one, I was just curious who this is development would play out with Theo and Megan's life. Overall, AMAZING book. I highly suggest this one because it is out of the ordinary and dark and primal and a pure twist of fate.
Incinerate
