About WICKED CHARM

Nothing good comes from living in the Devil's swamp. Willow Bell thinks moving to the Okefenokee area isn't half bad, but nothing prepares her for what awaits in the shadows of the bog. Girls are showing up dead in the swamp. And she could be next. Everyone warns Willow to stay away from Beau Cadwell―the bad boy at the top of their suspect list as the serial killer tormenting the small town. But beneath his wicked, depthless eyes, there's something else that draws Willow to him. When yet another girl he knew dies, though, Willow questions whether she can trust her instincts…or if they're leading to her own death.

Meagan's  Review:

This was a very interesting read. I  wasn't really sure what to expect, but I wasn't left disappointed. Our story begins with Willow and her parents moving her back to her grandmother's house in Georiga. Willow is a very interesting girl and on her first day back she sees a boy across the way, only to be told by her grandmother that he's pretty much the devil and will steal her soul. That was our introduction into Beau. Beau is immediately taken by with Willow and it shows while they are at school and even when they are back at their houses. Beau is an interesting character especially because he's kind of like a PG version of a  man-whore. He's "dated" like almost every girl in the school and when he turns his sights on Willow and ohhh he still has a girlfriend. Willow is very much interested in  Beau, but at the same time she is very reserved with her feelings for him. Beau breaks up with his current girlfriend of a month, her name is Samantha, and honestly, he's not heartless in his breakup with her, she doesn't want to break up, but she states she understands, however, leaves school later that day because she is heartbroken (again after only one month together in  high school). It isn't until later that we learned that she was killed by someone.

And this is where the story gets interesting. So now in this small town, there is a serial killer going around killing all of Beau's ex-girlfriends, which is odd in itself because it isn't like he actually liked any of these girls, he wasn't attached to them. At least not the way he is with Willow. But from here we start to question everyone and who could be killing all of these women. Willow starts to question the people in her life, as well as Beau begins to question everyone in his life. Is it a friend or foe? Man or woman? What's the motive? All these questions keep spiraling until the pieces begin to fall together. This is a definitely a book you are going to want to read because it is worth it to find out who the killer is and why they are doing this. It will keep you guessing until the very end. So make sure to go grab your copy.
