Meagan's Review:

Okay so first let  me say that I did not read the first book in this series and to be honest I caught on very quickly what was mostly in book 1 and picked up book 2 fairly quickly. Also this book isn't long, but for me it felt like it took me forever to get through it, because every time I thought we were close to an ending...it kept going. And not that it was a bad thing, but just a heads up if you read this book there is a lot of information and learning the ropes of things in this one. One final note is that while I did overall enjoy this book, I kind of wish the author had let the ending be the true ending and not continuing in the epilogue. I like out of left field twists and I thought something that rarely happens happened and I was super shocked and sad and yet extremely excited, but the epilogue brought everything back down to reality and set up a nice story line for book  3 so there is that.

Okay so  this book has a lot of complicated story lines going on, Our main characters are Sophia and Blake. A movie actress and her bodyguard. Out story starts out with Sophia's life and how much  of  a mess it is. She now uses drugs and her mother is a horrible person, her co-star isn't that great either her supposed best friend is a horrid person and the one person she could depend on left because of age and uncomfortableness and lines that kept getting blurred. All of this led to Sophia's overdose. After going to rehab she gets out to find that Blake Henderson is now her bodyguard again  as well as her sobriety person and her protector from her stalker that she doesn't know is stalking her. The awkwardness between  these two is amazing because they both have feelings for each other, they both shouldn't, they both act like they don't, they also think  no one knows about it, and their interactions are just amazing. We follow Sophia's story about trying to get her life back together and determine if she really wants to continue acting. It's all she's ever known can she do anything else. And on top of her trying to get her life back together, there is someone after her again and she doesn't know about  it it until it's too late and because Blake was keeping secrets again (granted in order to protect her, but he still wasn't honest).

Will Blake and Sophia be able to find a way to be together? What happens if she quits acting? What will his job be then? What happens if she doesn't chose Blake? What if the stalker gets to her first? Ohh and let me tell you when  we finally find out who it is O.M.G. soooooooo did not see that one coming, major kudos to Anna for that one because I kept  racking  my brain for who it could be and didn't even consider the person it was. I love things that come out of left field. Overall, I enjoyed this book and recommend it for your next reading adventure. Again I can't wait to see what next in Sophia's life. Make sure to grab your copy today.
