Ahhhhh can I tell you how much I love Lauren Blakely? I love her writing style and her stories and just her. I was very excited that this was my first book getting back into reviewing and of course Lauren didn't let me down.
Okay so our story is about friends who of course secretly have the hotts for each other and yet can't say or do anything about it. So Jamie has had a crush on Smith (who of course is a fireman....SCORE) for awhile now. But Smith is the typical bad boy who dates women like he needs his next breath and that just isn't for Jamie.
Smith....even though he's dated like every woman he comes into contact with, the one woman he has never been able to land is of course his friend Jamie. So then a few things fall into place and Jame and Smith have one week to have some fun. For Jamie it's to get Smith out of her system (I'm not sure that's really going to work) and for Smith it's a chance to prove himself to Jamie and to show her that they can work out and make the long hull.
So one week of hawt as hell no strings attached sex. AND OMG it's firemen running into a burning building hawt. Lauren does not disappoint with this section. But the problem is Jamie and Smith are sort of on two different paths and at the end of the week what will happen? Smith wants this to last but can Jamie really get over his past...and he really ready to truly move on? And is Jamie really ready to let go of the best week of her life?? You'll have to read to find out if Smith is really a changed man or will he add Jamie to his long list of women. This book is def worth the read so make sure you go grab your copy.
